The first time with Lauren and Chali was filled with juvenile naivety. Whatever the state of our bohemian night was it was marred with this obstinacious rain. Didn’t I park in the underground mall parking lot? The joys of dancing freely in an empty club.
The lion is just outside Oslo Central Station. A locale that is forever enshrined as the estranged stressor since returning with my parents as we traveled across Scandinavia. Our short stop in Oslo walking around the city sparked nostalgic, disorienting memories. It was as such since I was trying to retrace our steps 1.5 years prior. The feline landmark represents just how the built environment can evoke a sense of nostalgia, across the cold landscape of traveling into an unknown.
